The time has arrived.

By: Ben | August 21st, 2009

I apologize for the lack of posts as of recent, but as always at moments my job can take me away for extended periods of time.

Tomorrow starts the campionato and tomorrow Bologna face a fierce Fiorentina in a derby that has poisoned the blood of its fans for decades.

Since last I posted, the gas-man Taci pulled out of negotiations to gain 80 percent ownership of Bologna and Zalayeta has arrived as reinforcement ahead of the season. All will be told in 90 minutes tomorrow afternoon.

This post is brief but I will return tomorrow evening with a full game re-cap. Thank you for your patience.

Hey Ben – where are our updates? If you need help with the blog, I could certainly help out with updates here and there. I’d actually really like that.

Just so you know, we have a few upcoming games that will be televised on Fox Soccer Channel. This Sunday’s match-up against Milan will be on there at 9 AM (live), and it will be replayed on Monday at 1 PM.

Then we’ll have Juve-Bologna live on Sep 27th at 9 AM. Looking forward to it!

As I became a designer in the professional world I learned that the rules of design are suggestions that the novice designer should follow in order to play it safe. My professors would kill me if they heard me say this but, if there is a good concept behind your work and it’s done extremely well; the rules no longer apply.

Great article. I think many start-ups get stuck in the idea of “It has to represent everything the company does” mentality and that makes for some bad design. If your brand is strong and your company becomes visible your logo will come to represent everything you stand for.
